Someone shared his experience with me and I could not but shout, “Wow! Is this real or a movie script?” He met this pretty lady who stays in another town. He genuinely loved her, though he observed some character flaws. But overwhelmed by her beauty, he decided to tolerate them and see how he can encourage the changes he desires to see in her. About a month later, they started discussing marriage and were almost deciding on a date for their families to meet. This was after he has told his family the good news that he has finally found a wife, and has gone to see the lady's mother (her father is late). Just about this time, another young man showed up claiming the lady promised to marry him. When my young man asked her, she claimed he was only a friend and asked to be given some time to sort herself out. When he tried to query her further, she became apprehensive. So he backed down and agreed to give her time to sort herself out. Ask her how long she will take to sort things out, she refused to say.

This generated a slightly serious misunderstanding between them. But he decided to still wait for her believing that will not take much time so they can go ahead with their plans. To his surprise, about three weeks later, someone hinted him that the lady is pregnant and will be wedding the next day. Who is she wedding? He does not know. He called the lady but she refused to take his calls. He then called her mother who refused to confirm or refute the story. This lady actually did get married to someone else the next day.

It angered my friend so much when he remembered how much affection he showered on her. He gets angrier when he thought of the fact that this lady was sleeping with another person while deceiving him. The lady tried a number of times to lure him to bed but he refused because he wanted to leave his marriage bed undefiled till he says, “I do”. Who knows, if he had slept with her, she could have insisted he was responsible for the pregnancy. Beloved, all that glitters is not gold. Use your brain before a fake lady uses you. Pray very well before entering and while you are in any relationship, keep praying.

May be I should talk a little about the different types of ladies who use men and should be avoided by any wise man.
